Practice your best ?gracias!? and get ready for this year?s 13th Street Cinco de Mayo block party.
On Sunday, May 5 from noon to 9 p.m., El Vez is set to convert the block of 13th and Sansom streets in to an merry outdoor fiesta.
The smells and tastes of Mexico will fill 13th Street as El Vez sets up pop-up food and drink stands along the street.
Tasty tacos of all sort ? steak, chicken, cheese and more, will be available for $3 a piece, along with $3 enchiladas in flavors like short rib, lentil and zucchini and more.
A variety of nachos (blue cheese and shrimp nachos and BBQ chicken, to name a few) and other plates will be available as well.
Festive Mexican libations will certainly be flowing. Sip on El Vez?s famously potent Margaritas or enjoy a cold Corona or Modelo Especial.
Pair your food and drink with live music. The celebration brings the tunes of Latin America to the forefront with a performance by El Vez, otherwise known as The Mexican Elvis.
This sounds like the ultimate Sunday funday to us.
